| Click image to see first ride on 4-year old Lewella, who is named after Mr. Laddie Lewis. I took time starting her since both parents were not easy to start, and known to buck. I began riding her bareback. Taught her whoa and how to steer from the ground. After 6-7 bareback rides started her under saddle. Now I ride her all over the ranch. She stops big. A very balanced mover with a nice big stride. Correctly executes leads. Bombproof for the amount of training. This mare likes to please and learns quickly. Rarely spooks and is used to traveling with a pack of dogs. |
